Our Review of the 2023 Ram Truck Lineup
2023 is yet another year with few innovations for the Ram lineup in terms of game-changing engines and performance. What Ram did this year throughout the whole 2023 Ram trucks lineup is adding a new trim, some new tech options, and some updates. Here at Ram Trucks Lethbridge, we took a look to share the most important details with you.
New Trim for the Ram 1500
There’s a new deluxe trim for the 2023 Ram 1500 called the Limited Elite Edition. It comes with many comfort features, such as heated and ventilated front seats, a deployable bed step, and premium leather. Visuals are also upgraded with a suede headliner and even a jewelled rotary shifter.
That’s not all. There’s a UV glove box light, a LED hitch lamp, and a digital 31.24cm frameless instrument cluster with a unique theme. It comes at a starting price of $49,445.
Some Tech Improvements for the Ram 2500
There are some welcome new tech elements for the 2023 Ram 2500. They’re mainly geared towards making driving easier with trailers, such as redesigned tow mirrors and some improvements in the camera system. It now has a Trailer Tow app that lets you have different viewing modes. There’s also a Trailer Reverse Steering Control that lets you track the trailer position and control the steering wheel.
Some other features are an optional digital rearview mirror, a Mopar performance hood on some trims and a digital instrument cluster. It starts at $56,795 for the base trim, Tradesman.
The Ram 3500 Shares Many Features With the 2500
There are no specific additions for the Ram 3500 when comparing it to the 2500. In 2023 the Ram 3500 comes with the same updates related to towing as the 2500. It means you’ll also find the Trailer Tow app, the Trailer Reverse Steering Control, and other features. Some extras, such as the 31.24cm digital cluster and the sport hood, are also available. It starts at $57,795.
2023 Ram ProMaster
From the entire lineup, the ProMaster has the newest updated features. To start with, there’s a new, redesigned front with LED headlights and foglights. There are also three different heights to choose from now with a new Super High Roof Van without losing the four length options. It’s available for the Cargo version.
Another very interesting feature is the backdoor. There’s now a rollup door option, similar to a garage door which is excellent for saving space when opening. There are some new colours, including Spitfire Orange. Finally, a new tech addition is the parallel and perpendicular park assist.
There’s also an EV ProMaster set to be released in 2023, and the Promaster City Van will get discontinued. Ram will continue with the ProMaster line exclusively. The starting price is $46,795.
